How do I configure a Cisco 1941 router?

Hi, I want to build a small network of 5 users. They need to access a web-based application through a 2MB DSL connection. I have a Cisco 1941 router and Cisco 8 port 2960 switch that were purchased for this network.
I have some knowledge of writing cisco commands, accessing the switch etc. But I don't know enough router concepts to know what MUST be in the configuration to make it work securely.
Is there a template that I can follow or a sample configuration I can use?
