With low power consumption, Huawei OptiX OSN 2500 uses power switches 3 and 4 of the subrack OptiX OSN 2500.
Procedure
Step 1 OptiX OSN 2500, refer to Figure 11-1. Check the power cable of the subrack to ensure that the
power cable is properly connected to the PIU board of the relevant subrack.
The subrack power cable of power module A is connected to the PIU board in slot 22.
The subrack power cable of power module B is connected to the PIU board in slot 25.
Power switches 1 and 2 on the power supply module are used to provide power for the OptiX
OSN 2500.

Step 3 Turn the power switch at the DC power distribution unit, which is connected to Huawei PIU board, to the ON position.
Step 4 Observe the PROG indicator on all the boards.
If the PROG indicator flashes, the board software is being initialized and loaded.
After the board software is loaded successfully, the PROG indicator is on and green.
Step 5 Observe the PWRA and PWRB indicators on the Q2SAP board.
If the PWRA and PWRB indicators are on and in green color, the power supply is successful.
If the PWRA and PWRB indicators are on and in red color, or off, the power supply fails.
Check the power supply and handle the fault.
Step 6 Check the power indicator at the top of the cabinet to ensure that it is normally on.
