1510 and outdoor range calculator

HI,

I am putting together a proposal to provide an outdoor mesh wlan and want to use the 1510 series ap's, with the 5ghz radio for backhaul and the 2.4ghz for client access.

Idealy, i would like a utility which will give an indication of maximum range/cell size for a given antenna/tx power setting.

I have found a great calculator on Cisco's web site, here is the link...

http://www.cisco.com/application/vnd.ms-excel/en/us/guest/products/ps458/c1225/ccmigration_09186a00800a912a.xls

Even though it states that the 5ghz aspect its only any good for the 1400 series ap's and the 2.4ghz aspect only allows options ofr 350's and so on, it allows you to enter things such as external antenna properties and adjust the output power manually.

Does anyone know if this calculator will be any good for the 1500 series, partularly the 5ghz radio ?

If not, is there one available for the 1500 ?

Cheers

Shaun

Presently there is no such calculator for the 1500 APs. The calculator found in the mentioned URL is only for the Cisco Aironet Bridges.
