I'm a newby and need some help crafting a new rule for my Cisco 3600 Router.

I have a number of dns server behind the router and until now this rule has been fine

! Allow return UDP DNS traffic to the DNS Servers.
permit udp any eq 53 host 65.36.245.207 eq 53

however I just put a new dns server behind the router that I wish to open to the world for dns lookups.

it's ip address is 65.36.245.206

how would I craft a rule to allow anyone into this ip address to do dns lookups?

thanks in advance.

Hi

you can find a tutorial about configuring ACLs here:

Configuring standard ACLs
Configuring extended ACLs

Hope it helps.
