When the Switch Connects to a Cisco Device.

On a Cisco device, a Layer 3 interface or main interface that is bound to a VSI uses the Ethernet encapsulation mode, and a sub-interface that is bound to a VSI uses the VLAN encapsulation mode by default. On a Switch(like S6720), a Layer 3 interface, main interface, or sub-interface that is bound to a VSI uses the VLAN encapsulation mode by default. If the encapsulation modes on the switch and Cisco device are different, the VSI cannot be Up.
