If the physical M40+D40 boards is easy to remove on site, remove it and delete the MR2 board on the T2000. Then, install the removed M40+D40 boards, and create a logical M40+D40 boards on the T2000.
If the physical M40+D40 boards is difficult to remove on site, pre-configure the NE, delete the MR2 board, and create a logical M40+D40 boards on the T2000. Then, download the board configuration data from the T2000 to the NE.
In the NE Explorer, select the intended NE. Then, choose Configuration > NE Attribute from the Function Tree.
Select the Preconfiguration check box, enter the matching NE software version number, and click OK.
In the displayed Operation Success dialog box, click Close.
Double-click the NE to open the NE Panel. Right-click the left-hand pane on the NE Panel to delete the MR2 board and then add a logical M40+D40 boards. At this moment, the pre-configuration of the NE is complete.
Choose Configuration > Configuration Data Management from the Main Menu. The Configuration Data Management dialog box is displayed.
In the left-hand pane, select the intended NEs and click the double-right arrow.
Select all the preconfigured NEs that you want to modify, right-click the Preconfiguration and choose NO from the shortcut menu.
Click Apply. A prompt appears asking you whether to download immediately. Click Yes. A prompt appears telling you that The operation may affect the services.
Click OK. A prompt appears telling you that The operation may affect the services.
Click OK. A progress bar is displayed.
After the downloading is complete, a prompt appears telling you that the operation is successful. Click Close.
